CP Industries Holdings Inc Composite Cylinder Technician in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania
General Description:
- Must have verifiable CNC machine operation and programming experience.
- Be mechanically inclined with excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and understand operating manuals, procedures, etc.
- Ability to learn and thereafter perform all Composite Cylinder functions including (but not limited too) cylinder fabrication, equipment troubleshooting, quality assurance, inspection, testing, raw material and finish goods lifting & handling, crane operation, TPM and preventative maintenance, LEAN, OEE, 5S, technical training of colleagues, production and quality assurance documentation, general housekeeping, etc.
- Ability to work full (eight hour) shifts plus overtime in an upright, standing position within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to manually lift sixty (60) pounds from floor to shoulder height.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve all Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost daily/weekly objectives.
- Demonstrate verbatim compliance with all Composite Cylinder Fabrication Safety, Quality, Production and General policies, procedures, and practices.
- Comply with all CP Industries verbal leadership directives and written policies, procedures, practices and work rules.
- Demonstrate Maximum Employee Effectiveness and perform all tasks to the best of your ability at all times.
- Serve as the equipment operation and troubleshooting "subject matter expert".
- Provide peer-to-peer technical training and assistance to colleagues.
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Prior, verified CNC machine operation and programing experience (formal training preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED (Post-High School CNC training preferred).
- Possess effective peer-to-peer training skills.
Demonstrate satisfactory verbal and written communication skills.
Rate of Pay:
- Equivalent to CBA Job Code 50 -- (Date of Hire Dependent)
