Aerotek Journeyman Electrician in McElhattan, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

Seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians with a focus on Low Voltage electrical systems. Ideal candidates will have experience in servicing and installing fiber optics for security, fire alarms, sensors, and building automation systems. Responsibilities include bending conduit, running pipe, and installing new electrical systems in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires travel to different job sites and the ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently. Entry-level electricians from vocational programs or with strong residential work history are also encouraged to apply. This is a long-term contract-to-hire position with training provided and opportunities for overtime and annual raises.

Hard Skills

  • Low Voltage electrical experience

  • Fiber Optic running and experience

  • Commercial/industrial electrical experience

  • Experience working 480V

  • Fusion splicing

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Willingness to learn

  • Strong work ethic

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lock Haven / Wellsboro

Work Environment

The job is primarily located in Wellsboro, within the gas industry at a compressor station. Some travel may be required to other job sites such as Lock Haven. The work environment involves both commercial and industrial settings where you will collaborate with a team and also handle tasks independently. Dress code includes steel toes, jeans, and work shirts; FR clothes will be provided by the company. Full-time benefits and additional company benefits are available upon permanent hire.
