Summary
This is non-exempt, union position.
Responsibilities
Under general supervision repairs, tests, calibrates, and maintains various kinds of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment associated with the monitoring, protection and control of generation, transmission and communication equipment that has been previously deenergized, deactivated and removed from service. Works with and assists technicians of higher grade. Continues to maintain active interest in this type of work and through reading and study should keep abreast of progress in electrical technology related to the work.

Education, Experience and Certifications
Associate of Applied Science in electrical education at college level and one year as a Technician A or equivalent required.

Hourly rates for union-represented employees are collectively bargained by theNew York Power Authorityand IBEW. The negotiated pay rate for this position is$41.97 per hour.
