DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job ID: 494386

Position Overview This position is responsible for the daily production of either a batch plant or drum plant to produce quality asphalt for internal customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task * Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc. * Ensure quality production of asphalt materials * Assign and load trucks to various locations * Order liquid asphalt as needed * Complete daily and weekly production reports * Perform general daily maintenance on asphalt plant * Ensure that all Government environmental regulations are followed * Responsible for quality products * Other duties as assigned

Requirements * Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times. * Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time. * Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. Safety Manual. * Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook. * Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned. * Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.

Education/Experience * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Previous experience in asphalt plant operation helpful but not required * Must submit to a drug screen and background check. * Must possess a valid CDL Class B.
