Summary of Role:

Responsible for providing analytics and maintaining the pricing infrastructure to support pricing related activities in an extremely dynamic environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing analytics and maintaining the pricing infrastructure to support pricing related activities in an extremely dynamic environment. Enable decision making to establish target and floor price by segment and by technology, with the goal of extracting maximum profit for GF under existing market conditions. Apply cutting edge data science techniques to increase the quality of 1,700 pricing decisions made annually. Report to the Director of Pricing and work closely with stakeholders in Sales, Strategic Business Units, Finance and Supply chain to answer the most important questions and bring analytic rigor to produce actionable insights. Use data modeling and analytics skills/tools to maintain and enhance current pricing engine models. Create and maintain fully automated dashboards to measure quality of DWINs and other important pricing KPIs. Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria. Continuously monitor sales force, to establish (or refine) a win/loss database with competitive pricing (to be done for every contract / design win). Analyze the pricing database on a quarterly basis to establish deltas to competitor pricing, by node or technology; use this intelligence to update the pricing engine. Conduct margin analysis on customers by technology, by fab and analyze long tail customer data to find opportunities to raise prices. Present complex concepts in easy to understand and succinct manner. Develop knowledge and skills to scale up and become an effective Pricing lead in a few years and drive continuous CPQ process and system improvements.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field.

  • Experience – 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related role. Requires 5 years of experience with: (1) Pivot Tables, recording, editing, and modifying macros and VBA programming; (2) Oracle or Anaplan Planning software; (3) Build and maintain complex data/analytical models along with statistical analysis and problem-solving skills; (4) Mekko, Gantt, think-cell; and (5) SQL programming, Microsoft BI visualization tools and Salesforce. Less than 5% of domestic travel only .

Salary range: $106,605 – $135,000
