Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and care of our gardens and landscapes. As a Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising a team of crew members, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.This position is currently a supervisor position as well as a hands on labor positionDuties:- Supervise and manage a team of landscapers, providing guidance and support- Plan and execute landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care, tree care, and others- Training new employees (Company standards, routines, expectations, and quality values)- Efficiency and time management on job sites- Thoroughness in completing client requests- Maintain records and accurate record keeping using the company software and ensuring the accuracy of the record keeping that crew members complete- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols-Provide strong leadership and communication between office and crew members regarding the completion of the assigned job-Provide active and constructive communication between crew members and upper management in a timely manner so issues and concerns can be addressed promptly-Arriving punctually, gather supplies and materials needed for the jobs of the day per orders in company software.-Ensure the completion of all job aspects while on assignment and communicate when changes need to be made or issues occurPlease note that these are general responsibilities and this position is not limited to these alone, there may be others asked of you as needed per companyRequirements:- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and garden care- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of work- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clientsBenefits:Employee discountOpportunities for advancementPaid time offSafety equipment providedSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekends as neededYear round workPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyExperience:Landscape/Lawn Care Supervisor: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:NYS Drivers License with Valid Abstract from DMV (Required)
