The Creative Arts Department at Siena College invites applications for a part-time contract faculty position in Studio Art to begin Spring 2025.

• Teach one section of CREA309 New Art Forms (MW 6:00pm - 8:00pm, January 21st - May 12th).

• Participate in conversations about curriculum

• Participate in curricular assessments for personal professional development, and for departmental and college core curriculum assessment.

• Work with colleagues in a shared studio art classroom space and participate in studio cleanup and organization.

Salary $1,287.50 per contact hour

The hiring salary above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.

Job Requirements:

• An M.F.A. in drawing, painting, or a related field is required.

• Experience teaching at the college level is required.

• Technical mastery of drawing media and the ability to demonstrate technique.

A background screening will be required.
