Siena College is accepting applications for an adjunct instructor position to teach a graduate course, RUSS 988: Independent Study in Russian. See course description and meeting times below.

RUSS 988: Independent Study in Russian. A qualified graduate student may pursue a particular project/topic in their field of study. The project requires the approval of the faculty member involved and the program director. The student must possess adequate preparation in the field that will be studied as determined by the professor.

RUSS 988 is set to meet from January 21 to May 10, 2024. Course times and method of instruction are flexible.

Salary $1,287.50 per contact hour

The hiring salary above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Education or related field and exhibit a commitment to undergraduate and graduate liberal arts education. Demonstrated knowledge of New York State and national teaching standards required. Prior college-level teaching experience is preferred.

A background screening will be required.
