Manage the project fulfillment process to support the sales and distribution of commercial HVAC products through thorough communication and coordination. Act as a consistent technical resource to customers and engineers throughout the duration of projects for HVAC equipment. Track all projects in the CRM, ensure that Project Opportunities are complete, and that any missing information or discrepancies are addressed before they become issues. Coordinate and communicate with all involved parties to develop submittals that are accurate and meet all project requirements. Obtain all relevant project information and develop technical proposal or respond to request for proposals to cover specific customer requirements utilizing knowledge of Mechanical Engineering. Create or Update Daikin City Project File, including WebXpress, BOM, and DAR. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. Review projects in CRM and ensure that CRM Opportunities contain all components and are in the correct format. Identify any discrepancies between what is listed on the purchase order and what is listed in the CRM Opportunity, including conflicting dates, pricing, equipment scope, terms and conditions, and credit terms. Review projects in detail to understand scope of project and identify any missing information. Prepare submittals and respond to all submittal rejections, create, and reĀ¬ submit revised submittals as necessary. Liaise with Outside Sales Reps and Vendors to confirm any issues with submittals and receive feedback. Liaise with contractors to address any requested changes from the engineers. Utilize available reports and tools to track project and business backlog, as well as any potential lead time issues and rectify, as able. Work with Marketing Department to create digital or hard copy O&M Manuals and print to contractors, as needed. Coordinate activities of AER Administrator in relation to equipment deliveries. Ensure that all parties are aware of any changes to equipment lead times or project schedules. Work with Purchasing and Inventory Departments to order and store equipment based on project timelines. Request final Special Pricing Quote from Vendors, ensure information is uploaded in CRM and send information to AER Admin & Purchasing Department for processing. Coordinate with the credit department to ensure customers are aware of credit terms and payment schedules. Attend project coordination meetings with General Contractors, contractors, and/or engineers as they relate to ongoing projects. Communicate to all involved parties, including but not limited to customer, Sales Account Manager, and Outside Sales Engineer, when projects are completed successfully. Perform final review of CRM Opportunity and ensure all information is accurate and complete. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a closely related field of study. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:3 Years as HVAC Commercial Estimator or related engineering position, reviewing Mechanical/HVAC Plans; analyzing system capacity, design feasibility, capacity satisfaction, and ASHRAE 90.1 validity and implantation; and preparing Mechanical/HVAC cost estimates and bids.
