Job Title: Solar Electrical Helper

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an electrical helper on a community-sized solar farm project in Lodi, NY! This role involves assisting electricians with the electrical aspects of constructing a ground-mounted commercial solar farm. You will engage in various tasks including material staging, wire pulling, connection completions, conduit installation, and general support to electricians. Additional responsibilities may include assembling racking systems and maintaining a clean worksite. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring the project's success by adhering to safety, quality standards, and code specifications.

Hard Skills

• 1+ years experience in solar racking or solar electrical work

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Ability to perform physical labor such as lifting and unloading trucks

• Experience with construction labor, landscape labor, general labor

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lodi, New York.

Work Environment

The work environment is an old farm field which can be wet and muddy. The project operates in inclement weather conditions including rain, snow, and cold. Work hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional Saturday work may be required, with sufficient notice provided to adjust schedules.
