POSITION:Special Education Teacher, Probationary

LOCATION: Starpoint Middle School

EFFECTIVE DATE: September 2024

DESCRIPTION:

This teacher will work as part of a 6thgrade academic team to provide support to students with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have:

• Knowledge and background related to NYS learning standards

• Experience with differentiating instruction for students with diverse academic challenges

• The ability to meet students' social-emotional and academic needs

• Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Desire to work collaboratively as part of an academic team

QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification - Students with Disabilities

COMPENSATION: Per Starpoint Teachers' Association agreement
