Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to inventory management, order picking, and maintaining a safe work environment. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

Unload inbound inventory deliveries that come in by ocean container and trucks taking maximum care for the product. Organize inbound product per our procedures, label each piece and move to storage per warehouse management direction. Operate warehouse equipment such as fork lifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Perform order picking and packing duties accurately to ensure timely shipment of products. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols. Assist with inventory management including receiving, storing, and distributing materials as needed. Assist with the operation of basic cutting of foam products on our bandsaws and skivers. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards. Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with operating forklifts, and pallet jacks is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management tasks.
