Parts Manager

Job Summary

This individual will have operational responsibility for the Parts Department and be responsible for overseeing warehouse & inventory management, purchasing, parts research & sourcing, vendor relations, and warranty claims. Parts manager is further responsible for maintaining inventory levels to ensure that the Service Department can complete their work in a timely manner without delay. 

Infrequent travel required (Maryland, Western PA, Central PA). 

Onsite location is Southeastern PA

Your key responsibilities:

· Leads the Parts Department to achieve parts target metrics and goals to achieve operating performance that is aligned with company goals and operational objectives

· Achieving an acceptable operating profit for the department by increasing sales and gross profit dollars while also being aware of and managing expenses appropriately.

· Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures. Administers warranty claims, reviews warranty policy adjustments, understands and applies warranty guidelines, ensures correct processing of claims, and communicates warranty information and clarifications to customers.

· Serves as a liaison between the Parts Department and all other departments in the company

· Monitors the performance of branch parts personnel and their inventory activity at three other branch locations and approximately 50 service vehicles

· Oversees outgoing and incoming freight to minimize freight costs and maximize freight recovery charges.

· Review monthly financial reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and develop action plans to address any that are below specified goals.

· Managing the purchasing and sales order process for all departments.

· Handles the majority of the vendor relations

·Work alongside with accounting team
