This position will manage TWO plant operations while exhibiting senior leadership qualities. This position requires manufacturing experience from a management perspective. Responsibilities

• Participates in Company strategic planning forums as part of the senior leadership team.

• Monitors and reports Company performance to plans/goals

• Initiate a productivity improvement and cost reduction imperative using best practices (SPC, LEAN, etc.)

• Analyze, plan, manage execution, and provide feedback on growth/improvement initiatives (Oversee manufacturing process upgrade implementation)

• Upgrade leadership, supervisory, and plant technical capabilities

• Collaborate with the President and senior Managers on the above.

• Play leadership role with Accounting, Sales, and Operations to create a workable operations budget for submission in late Fall.

• Regular documented communication of critical issues including capital requirements, policy implementation needs, etc.

• Oversee and upgrade Company engineering functions including maintenance, design, tooling development, and fabrication.

• Improve operational integration of the southeastern USA plant.

• Manage human capital morale & resource needs to satisfy present and future requirements.

• Institute an improved training, recruitment, and retention program utilizing outside / inside expertise

• Develop a ‘Quality First' function that embraces production improvement and cost control Companywide with a Continuous Improvement culture.

• Engage with and manage raw material and manufacturing supply vendors

• Budget derivation and Participate in the improvement of purchasing practices.
