Le Roy Central School District has a 0.50 FTE position in the Le Roy Jr.-Sr. High School starting in September, 2024. We are seeking a French teacher that will support students in developing the competencies, knoweldge, and skills needed in comprehending and communicating in French.

The Le Roy Jr.-Sr. High School has 550+ students in grades 7-12, 70+ staff members, and has a proud tradition of academic excellence and maintains high behavioral standards. We have a very diverse and vast course catalog that allows our students to challenge themselves and expand their horizons. Job Qualifications

French Teacher Expectations:

• Knowledge of New York State LOTE Learning Standards;

• Demonstrate how to use French effectively;

• Demonstrated ability and/or commitment to developing and maintaining a strong French program, including supporting students to earn the NYS Seal of Bi-Literacy.

Position Qualifications:

• New York State certification in content area

• Knowledge of skills in pedagogy and content of French

• Demonstrate fluency and proficiency in French
