Job summary: The Data Architect will draw from his/her experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating the technical strategy, designing and building advanced data models to meet the growing needs of Data Analytics at Greene, Tweed. As the Data Architect, you will be responsible for analyzing, shaping, and prioritizing functional requirements and designing solutions that consider security, usability, and stability. The incumbent will plan, design, and monitor key characteristics of the analytics platform to help ensure that it complies with enterprise standards and that it performs adequately as additional analytics solutions are implemented.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to gather analytics requirements, assessing the data that is available in sources such as SAP ERP, SAP MII (MES), Wonderware, Salesforce.com, PLC Machine Data, etc.

• Work with management to develop, maintain and execute upon portfolio of analytics projects.

• Lead the technical design, implementation and lifecycle management of modern analytics tools.

• Establish standards and practices for Greene Tweed for the design and development of data models.

• Coordinate with Data Analysts on best practices and techniques for data visualization and data modeling, partnering to identify future needs and requirements

• Use advanced data modeling and predictive tools/algorithms to support the needs of data analysts.

Required Minimum Qualifications Education: BS Degree (or higher) in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Computer Science or related field required.

Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience developing data models and database design, including advanced techniques suh as set analysis or stastistical analysis; Preference given to candidates who have worked with Qlik Sense or Qlik View

• 5+ years developing in SAP ABAPnecessary.

• Programming skills in R, Python or other advanced predictive algorithm development and usage preferred

• Technical Project Management experience required

• Experience defining business/technical requirements, including the ability to analyze system requirements and implement migration methods for existing data required.

• Proficient at developing, architecting, standardizing and supporting technology platforms using Industry leading BI / Reporting solutions.

• Web development experience using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js is a plus

• Hands on experience with SQL required

• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills.

• Ability to develop and manage projects, identify risks and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, define problem solving and risk mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution.

• Effective written, verbal and graphical communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure/stressful situations in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to travel as needed; up to 15-20% of time (Domestic/International).
