Lancaster County Maintenance Organization is looking for a detail-oriented Stock Clerk 2 to join our team and ensure operations run effectively and efficiently. Put your clerical, warehouse, or stockroom experience to use with an agency who strives to innovate the transportation system in Lancaster County!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Stock Clerk 2, you will operate and maintain an automotive parts and tools storeroom to supply garage staff with repair parts and specialized tools. This is a crucial position to ensure established levels of inventory are available to complete critical work on roadways in the county. Examples of inventory include filters, belts, equipment components, fittings, hoses, hardware, fluids, tires and maintenance items. Knowledge of how these items are used and how they should be stored will assist you in keeping up with incoming requests. Tracking receipts, making purchase requests, and navigating internal databases will be important components of your work duties to fulfill the needs of our maintenance office. You can expect to receive, inspect, accept or reject stock room items; as well as making recommendations for corrections on invoices to vendors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or clerical work; and graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
