Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Pastor and Treasurer

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and foster positive relationships within the church

  • Manage communications: Answer phones, emails, and coordinate mailings

  • Maintain records: Organize files, track member information, and oversee contributions

  • Prepare materials: Assemble weekly bulletins, newsletters, and reports

  • Support financial tasks: Record offerings, distribute giving statements, and assist with budget tracking

  • Office management: Order supplies, oversee office expenses, and maintain church calendars

  • Technology & Website: Manage basic updates for the church website and digital content

  • Collaborate with Play & Learn daycare staff: Occasionally interact with daycare personnel within the church facility, ensuring professional and courteous communication

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of administrative experience (church setting preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet navigation
  • Ability to maintain the church website (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Bookkeeping skills and an accounting background required
  • Experience with Church Windows software is a plus
