Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on the 2nd shift, running from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for setting up various machines and changing out tooling based on production requirements. The role involves daily equipment setup and changeover, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery when breakdowns occur. The candidate should have a strong mechanical ability and some industrial electrical knowledge, though PLC troubleshooting or programming experience is not required but would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines accurately and in a timely manner.

• Complete daily maintenance checks on machines.

• Troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed.

• Adjust and align machine parts.

• Replace defective parts of machinery as needed.

• Work with tools such as micrometers, calipers, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

• Understand and apply OSHA Lockout-Tagout requirements.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

• Experience with pneumatics and machine repair.

• Ability to set up and repair machinery.

• Basic knowledge of 240V/480V and 3-phase motors.

• Attention to detail and manual dexterity.

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with manual machining.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting experience (preferred but not required).

• Forklift experience (nice to have).

• Experience with mold machines (nice to have).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
