*Purpose of the Job: *

Use machining centers and inspection equipment to produce quality parts

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload parts on/off of machining centers
• Work with the team to optimize production and equipment efficiency
• Demonstrate proper work practices to maintain a safe working environment
• Check coolant levels and keep machining centers clean
• Do visual and dimensional inspections per applicable documents (i.e. inspection procedure, print, work instruction, etc.)
• Record quantity of parts produced

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Attention to detail with a high level of concentration
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Practice safety guidelines

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ability to master repetitive task with high degree of accuracy and precision
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Work effectively with Coworkers and others
• Minimum education:  High School diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions and Environment:

• Works indoors in adequate work space, with adequate temperatures, ventilation and lighting
• Regularly works in and around manufacturing noise, dust and fumes
• Normal manufacturing exposure to noise, stress and disruptions
