Escort Driver - Part-time - ESCOR006035-00001

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: High Transit LLC is seeking qualified part-time drivers to escort oversized, overweight loads in a manner that promotes public safety. This position is ideal for candidates looking to work 2-3 days per week. This position requires Escort Drivers to work as part of our Escort Fleet to escort Wide Haul or Heavy Haul loads to the job site at various points around the mid -Atlantic region. Candidates will be required to operate a manual pickup truck to escort the tractor-trailer. 

Pay rate is $16.80 per hour

Candidates should expect to work 20-30 hours a week during our peak season. 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: * Valid drivers license * Ability to pass DOT physical * Acceptable motor vehicle record * Pass NY Certification Program * Pass VA Certification Program * Familiarity with a standard stick shift * Ability to follow written instructions * High school diploma or equivalent
