Job Title: 1st Shift Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Quality Inspector to join our quality department where we manufacture, test, and inspect aluminum heat pipes. The position operates on a 9/80 schedule (Mon-Fri, 7am-4:30pm).

Responsibilities

  • Measure and test equipment using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other various hand tools/instruments.

  • Follow shop drawings and basic blueprints for customer orders.

  • Transfer written data and data from machinery into the database using a computer.

  • Participate in the inspection process from start to finish, including inspection of machined parts and quality checks on products for the military or NASA.

Essential Skills

  • High level of attention to detail, especially with small parts assembly or machining.

  • Comfortable using a computer for data entry.

  • Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

  • Ability to read and follow shop drawings and blueprints.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
