Job Title: 1st Shift - Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team for the 1st shift, working Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm. The Quality Inspector will ensure that all materials, components, and products meet established specifications and standards, contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Work from blueprints, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with established standards.
Select and set up testing and analyzing equipment, and use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions, function, surface finish, and hardness.
Visually examine work for acceptable appearance.
Perform floor audits to ensure adherence to requirements.
Report discrepancies via discrepancy reports to production, quality, and manufacturing engineering personnel and supervision for disposition and corrective action as required.
Perform inspections, including 1st article, on purchased and manufactured parts.
Enter data into the computer program (Oracle).
Perform clerical work as needed.
Understand, implement, and promote Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Perform basic work in other classifications in Quality, such as metrology, and other departments as required.
Essential Skills
Proficient in quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection procedures.
Experience with calipers, micrometers, visual inspection, and other precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret part drawings with an understanding of geometric tolerancing.
Experience with QA/QC procedures, specifications, sampling methods, and precision measuring and testing equipment.
2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving machining and assembly operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum High School Degree or equivalent.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean, safe, and climate-controlled environment with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The facility operates on a Monday to Thursday schedule from 6:00am to 4:30pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
