Job Posting: Flavor Processing Technician

Location: Lakewood, NJ

We are currently seeking a Flavor Processing Technician to join our team at our Lakewood, New Jersey facility. If you are passionate about quality and want to be part of a company that values integrity and service, then this is the job for you!

Responsibilities:

• Weigh and prepare ingredients for batch mixing systems following detailed procedures

• Complete time and temperature paperwork accurately to ensure safe, high-quality food production

• Monitor and evaluate mixing equipment through visual checks and sensory evaluation

• Assemble equipment for continuous and pre-mix systems, along with auxiliary components

• Move ingredients, trash, and recyclables using forklifts, pallet jacks, or transporters

• Perform sanitation tasks for equipment and department areas

• Collaborate with teams for "Root Cause Analysis" to identify process improvements

• Participate in High-Performance Operation (HPO) training and Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM)

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of safety

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to detect color, taste, or deviations in smell

• Ability to lift or move containers up to 50 lbs regularly

• Capable of reading and interpreting safety rules, labels, and procedure manuals

• Proficient in simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and conversions

• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle diverse situations

• Experience following detailed procedures and completing accurate paperwork

• Flexibility to work all three shifts and train on different shifts

• Experience adhering to company, plant, regulatory, and customer standards

• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and experience in food or pharmaceutical plants

• Sanitation experience in a USDA plant

Shift - 12:45pm - 8:15pm

Pay - $20 per hour

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
