Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the sheet metal and metal fabrication industry. The ideal candidate must possess expertise in press brake operation and the ability to read blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machinery and tools, including punching, drilling, tapping, deburring, grinding, and spot welding.

• Inspect parts per customer blueprint for quality.

• Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, and grinding metal.

• Utilize hand tools and measuring tools like squares, protractors, and calipers.

• Use rolling cylinders and cones to bend and form metal.

• Lift up to 35 lbs as required.

Essential Skills

• Sheet metal industry experience is a must

• Press brake operation is a must

• Ability to read blueprints and drawings

• Experience with rolling cylinders and cones

• Skill in bending and forming sheet metal

• Proficiency in drilling and tapping

• Spot welding (plus)

• Knowledge of hand and power tools, grinders, punch press, and drill press

Pay & Shift

• 1st shift: 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

• Pay Range: $22 to $27 an hour

• $$ Paid weekly $$

• Contract to hire with benefits offered

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
