ManpowerGroup Accounting Clerk in Kings Park, New York

Our client, a dynamic organization in the financial services sector, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of the finance department supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a temporary role.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Melville, NY

Pay Range: $22-$25 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (part-time), 7:30am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Format and reconcile daily banking files with deposits in the ERP system.

  • Assist in performing daily cash and credit card reconciliations.

  • Complete various clerical tasks as needed to support the finance team.

  • Work part-time, three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.

What's Needed?

  • Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis tools

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
