Pennoni Associates Inc Quality Control Specialist - Materials Testing in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Our combination of talent and experience generates unprecedented solutions for diverse and iconic projects around the globe.   Pennoni is currently looking for a Quality Control Specialist  to join our team on a full-time basis at our Construction Materials Laboratory in King of Prussia, PA.   Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage quality programs for Construction Engineering region. 
  • Disciplines include Special Inspections; Construction Materials Testing; Transportation Construction Management and Inspection; Bridge Fabrication Inspection; and Geotechnical Engineering. 
  • Maintain quality manuals; accreditations and certifications; quality documentation and records, which include internal/external equipment calibrations and maintenance reports. 
  • Perform field, office and laboratory audits. 
  • Liaison with regulatory agencies. 
  • Assist with training and certification. 
  • Provide quality consulting services

Required Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • 4-7 years of professional experience working in Construction Materials and/or Lab Testing. 
  • Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Attributes:

 

 

 

  • Quality certification (i.e. ASQ, ISO or similar) is a plus, but not required
  • Technical base in engineering, construction materials testing and inspection, construction and/or quality management. 
  • Honesty, integrity, dependability and punctuality.
  • Self-starter. Good written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Good organizational skills. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
