Our combination of talent and experience generates unprecedented solutions for diverse and iconic projects around the globe.   Job Responsibilities   Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer - Construction *to work in our *King of Prussia, PA office to perform the following tasks:   Job Responsibilities:

  • Working in the field at building construction sites as a quality assurance representative, observing, documenting and reporting on the construction work and performing construction materials testing.
  • Checking one or more of the following for compliance with the drawings and specifications: reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel, spray applied proofing, soils and/or foundation construction.
  • Performing field testing of plastic concrete, grout, mortar and block, fireproofing, soils and/or nondestructive testing of welds
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications, write reports, create sketches, communicate and coordinate with the engineers, contractors, and clients. 

     

Job Requirements:

 

  • Engineering Degree in related field with an EIT License
  • 0-3 years related experience
  • Capable in Microsoft Windows
  • Reliable transportation

      Preferred Attributes:

     

     

  • Good communication skills, both written and oral

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work construction schedules, which may include overtime, and off-hours work
