BNP Paribas Vice President (SWIFT Application Production) in Jersey City, New Jersey

Vice President (SWIFT Application Production) for BNP Paribas RCC Inc. in Jersey City, NJ, to investigate production issues and coordinate resolution with stakeholders, clients, software vendors, and technology specialists for a timely resolution. Will support the product deployment life cycle for new releases, standards, and patches. Will design, test, and implement SWIFT routing rules. Will ensure support documentation is kept up-to-date and published in prescribed tools according to the bank’s standards. Provide support for projects along with timely reporting on status updates and risks. Prepare documents for business continuity planning, architecture, and disaster recovery procedures for the SWIFT platform. Will coordinate post-migration validation in the production environment with users and coordinate end-to-end testing as necessary. Will manage the governance and audit initiatives and support the resolution of non-compliance findings and recommendations. Will manage the resolution of situation reviews triggered by major incidents along with documentation of the post-incident report. Will manage the global projects, working with teams from the US, Canada, Paris, and India. Will manage and plan the DYNATRACE monitoring of the messaging and payments platforms. Will manage and analyze service now tickets as per the ITIL process.Requires: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience in as a Vice President (SWIFT Application Production) or related occupation with IT application production support within an international bank or international financial services organization or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Vice President (SWIFT Application Production) or related occupation with IT application production support within an international bank or international financial services organization. Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) in banking domain investments, payments, and SWIFT messaging; (DE) with application production support covering various banking business lines including Global Market, Investment and Global Banking; (DE) with Unix, Linux and Shell Scripts; (DE) with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL; and (DE) with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
