DUTIES:Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Code solutions, unit testing, and ensure solutions can be integrated successfully into overall applications/systems with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements. Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk and implement new ideas. Utilize multiple architectural components across data and applications in the design and development of client requirements. Resolve technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Contribute to existing test suites supporting integration, regression and performance. Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications. Utilize full stack engineering, Linux, coding and debugging. Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment. Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, CIS, MIS or related; and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
