Your Role
The purpose of the Lead Global Sales Tender Management role is to lead and supervise the coordination, monitoring, and guidance of assigned Tender Management (TM) Hemisphere teams. The primary objective is to support key account managers throughout the tender management cycle, with a focus on maintaining and expanding the organization's share of wallet within the global sales context. Overall, the Lead Global Sales Tender Management role is essential in ensuring effective coordination, monitoring, and guidance throughout the tender management process, thereby contributing significantly to the organization's success in maintaining and expanding its market presence and share of wallet.
Your Responsibilities
Setting Strategic Direction: Lead the development and implementation of tender management strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
Team Leadership: Provide clear direction, guidance, and mentorship to the Tender Management (TM) Hemisphere teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Stakeholder Engagement: Lead efforts to align stakeholders across departments and geographical regions, ensuring cohesive collaboration and support for tender initiatives.
Performance Management: Take the lead in setting performance expectations, conducting regular evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to drive team excellence.
Continuous Improvement: Lead the identification of areas for enhancement within tender processes, driving the development and implementation of improvement initiatives.
Resource Allocation: Lead the allocation of resources, including personnel and budget, to optimize tender management activities and ensure efficient operations.
Risk Management: Take the lead in identifying and mitigating risks associated with tender submissions, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
Customer Focus: Lead the development of customer-centric approaches within tender management, prioritizing customer satisfaction and retention.
Innovation: Lead efforts to foster a culture of innovation within the TM teams, encouraging creative solutions to challenges and promoting continuous learning.
Results Orientation: Lead by example in driving results-oriented approaches, setting ambitious yet achievable targets and holding the team accountable for delivering outcomes.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management/Logistics or Engineering
5+ years of project management experience
2+ years of international Experience
5+ years of leadership experience
5+ years of Freight forwarding, Logistics operations from Logistics Service Provider or Manufacturing
2+ years of Pricing/Tender Management/Excellence Management experience
Microsoft Office/365 (focus on advanced presentation skills PowerPoint, medium-advanced Excel) proficiency
Supply Chain Management knowledge & Consultative Selling
Process mapping or Re-Engineering qualification (e.g. Six Sigma, SCOR®)
Leadership: The ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams towards achieving common goals, providing clear direction and support.
Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organizational objectives, foresee market trends, and capitalize on opportunities.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
