New York Life’s Institutional Annuities is hiring a Client Service Representative in its Jersey City, NJ location. We are looking for customer-focused, accountable, efficient, and engaged professionals who are dedicated to and guided by a commitment to service excellence.

The Role:

This role provides a great opportunity to learn all aspects of our Structured Settlement Annuity product. In this role, you will serve as the Structured Settlement Annuities Departments front line, answering questions from payees and Structured Settlement brokers. You will process service requests, financial transactions, and death claims. You will also work closely with our Sales Desk while onboarding new business and distributing contracts. Every day will provide a new opportunity for you to learn, helping you grow and develop with each interaction, keeping you engaged and the role interesting.

Training & Development:

Client Service Representatives undergo in-house training to learn about the product, contract provisions, and transaction processing. Coaching and feedback are provided to help you gain the necessary skills for you to be successful.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent and related work experience

  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills

  • Passionate to help others

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • The ability to work and thrive in a team environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Accountable, ethical, good decision-making ability

Desired Qualifications

· 1- 2 years of related experience

· Knowledge of annuities, Structured Settlement knowledge a plus

· Client service experience
