Job Description

The Registered Dietitian's main priority is to be available during the day for guest questions and concerns, and to conduct individual consultations. You will need to have a working knowledge of the Biggest Loser Resort goals, our managers, and our philosophy. In addition, you must have a passion for helping our guests be successful in their journey to health and fitness.

Duties and Responsibilities -Teach nutrition classes as part of lecture series -Conduct individual consults with guests in person -Be available to answer guest questions -Oversee kitchen and meals/nutrition -Conduct employee in-services as needed (reservations, kitchen staff,etc) -Participate in manager/employee meetings as needed -Contribute to new program and development ideas as well as conflict resolution -Communicate with diabetics prior to arrival to ensure they are accommodated during their stay -Exhibit an in-depth understanding of weight loss trends and research -Experience in weight loss and diabetic counseling -Assist Chef in cooking demos 1-2 times/week -Evaluate guest food allergy/intolerance needs at Assessment and prepare appropriate reports -Update substitution reports on guest requests for lunch and dinner -Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelors degree in Nutrition, and current RD Registration -Certified as a Diabetes Educator preferred -An in-depth understanding of current trends and research on weight loss -Prior experience with diabetes and weight management -Excellent communication skills -Patient and compassionate personality -Strong Communication and interpersonal skills -Strong organizational and time management skills -Excellent service and problem-solving skills are required -Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word -Knowledge of Nutritionist Pro helpful

Pay Rate - $20/hour - $25/hour, Part Time
