Position Overview

The IT Acquisition Technical Lead will provide strategic technical leadership for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), supporting IT integration functions including Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Applications, and End User support. This role involves managing IT due diligence, planning, and integration of acquired companies to align technology with business goals. The ideal candidate must have advanced skills in technical design, development, analysis, and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the M&A Deal Team, Integration Management Office (IMO), Project Managers, and business stakeholders on acquisition integration project plans and status updates.

  • Gather detailed technical and business requirements through various methods such as interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.

  • Perform risk management to identify, communicate, and mitigate acquisition IT-related risks.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of integration    projects for newly acquired companies.

  • Coordinate effectively with various business units, technology teams, and support teams to ensure that business requirements are delivered through technical solutions.

  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related due diligence reviews to support IT integration planning and implementation.

  • Validate resource requirements and develop IT integration cost estimates, budgets, and actuals.

  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Plan and implement IT infrastructure and manage office buildouts and closures.

  • Serve as the primary PM for all office closures, openings, moves, and consolidations.

  • Work with and become a trusted advisor to multiple divisions within the World portfolio including Finance, Commercial and Retail.

  • Working experience as an ITPM in the Insurance industry is a positive.

    Experience:

  • 7+ years of M&A IT integration project experience required.

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure operations (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, network, data center operations, and endpoints).

  • 3+ years of experience coordinating with a team of Infrastructure Engineers required.

  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud Computing or SaaS Solutions required.

  • 3+ years of experience with Agency Management Systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and manage technical projects, including identification of project scope, requirements, deliverables, and coordination of project design and implementation activities.

    Knowledge / Competencies:

  • Demonstrated strong people skills, leading and participating in a team environment.

  • Strong technical documentation skills.

  • Applicants must be organized and able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including end users, preferred partners, and executive management.

  • Competency with indirect leadership and managing in-house and outsourced delivery teams.

  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement.

    Education:

Preferred:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related technical field.
