Position Summary:

* This position will be in person at our Irvington NY corporate office or NYC at the photo studio *

This creative role is responsible for curating each season’s product offerings to produce compelling stories across the EILEEN FISHER landscape. The Sr. Brand Stylist ensures that looks and product stories articulate the essence of the brand, including the way our line works as a system. The role styles looks for the website, as well as digital, print and in-store marketing, leading the Jr. Brand Stylist in some of that work.

The Sr. Brand Stylist upholds the brand aesthetic and DNA in all aspects of content creation, ensuring coherence across story development, look building, on-set styling and photography. This role will partner across channels and mediums to ideate seasonal campaign concepts and messages, working closely with the Brand Content and Social Media Teams in the process. The Sr. Brand Stylist also partners with Site Merchandising and Digital Marketing to ensure that the needs of both brand and business are met. In order to help us continue evolving the brand experience for our customers, the successful candidate will have an eye for digital and an understanding of the EILEEN FISHER brand and its values.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bring fresh creative thinking to inspire brand styling. Research to stay current on and understand relevant trends.

• Lead and mentor the Jr. Brand Stylist, ensuring on-brand execution of styling and providing feedback for creative growth.

• As a partner to Design’s How to Wear Team, participate in the seasonal messaging process, working with key shapes and proportions to build looks early in the line development process.

• Attend seasonal line presentations and feedback meetings; collaborate with Buying Team to develop and create seasonal stories for EILEEN FISHER brand communications.

• Collaborate with Design’s How to Wear Team to lead the conception and creation of looks and product stories for brand photography to ensure an elevated brand presentation.

• Serve as a key partner to the Brand Content Leader Team, Buying Team and Design’s How to Wear Team to concept and create cross-channel seasonal campaign messages.

• Partner with Digital Merchandising and Digital Marketing to optimize brand and business for site, so that product performance planning aligns with brand messaging strategy.

• Style into looks to be featured in all expressions of the brand. This includes contribution to and oversight of every look in every image in every channel—homepages, emails, digital advertising, print advertising, direct mail, in-store posters, in-store video, etc.

• Approve Shop-By-Item (e-commerce) shot lists and looks. Approve all cross-selling suggestions.

• Oversee e-commerce photoshoot styling (executed by Jr. Brand Stylist).

• Attend all photoshoot fittings and partner with Design and Fit teams to ensure samples fit correctly.

• Style on set for all brand photo shoots.

• Create and organize shot list based on asset needs. Ensure all assets are being completed on deadline.

• Serve as the go-to person for all things photo/product related, in terms of what was shot, etc.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 6-8 years apparel-styling / merchandising / look-building experience required.

  • On-set styling experience required.

  • Should be comfortable speaking on clothing in videos

  • Candidate must have experience with and understanding of the way e-commerce content is planned. E-commerce merchandising experience a plus.

  • Photoshoot planning experience a plus.

  • Experienced in Figma, Google Docs, Excel, and should be generally adept at working with web-based tools.

The hiring salary range for this role is $90,000- $110,000/yr. dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer competitive benefits including a generous clothing allowance and a wellness reimbursement program.
