Huntingdon County Child & Adult Development Corporation is seeking a Cook for our Broad Top location.

As a Cook here at HCCADC, you will prepare food and administer food service operations in the Head Start/First Choice Childcare Center covering any other food service functions as assigned. Major job functions include: Food Ordering/Inventory Control, Meal Preparation/Cooking/Distribution, and Care of Kitchen Equipment/Supplies.

High School diploma or GED and one year experience in meal preparation, menu planning for groups and standard food safety, sanitation and hygienic practices. Must have a valid PA driver's license and have access to consistent and dependable transportation. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. The position requires the employee to competently perform the following activities on a regular or frequent basis: reading, writing, implementing orders/directives, planning, organizing, and prioritizing work, adhering closely to regulations and established methods and procedures and communicating clearly and effectively with others.
