DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will handle a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including working on the construction, modification, repair, and upkeep of buildings, floors, roofs, stairs, windows, and doors. Responsibilities include preparing and painting both interior and exterior surfaces, installing and repairing sinks, faucets, water heaters, and drains, as well as installing and replacing electrical circuits, panels, outlets, and lighting fixtures. Additionally, you will perform cleaning duties such as moving furniture, dusting, washing and waxing floors, cleaning windows, walls, ceilings, and restrooms. Snow, ice, and debris removal from exterior surfaces, lawn mowing, and landscaping maintenance are also required. You will need to request and manage housekeeping supplies, monitor heating fuel levels, request refills, and maintain an adequate stock of facility maintenance items.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required): Formal training (high school vocational program, apprenticeship, or post-high school technical training program) in a skilled building, electrical, or mechanical trade.
Experience in commercial carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC trades. Experience in commercial maintenance of buildings and equipment. Experience working with 3-phase wiring to include emergency generators, Automatic Transfer Switches, switch gears and 3-phase panels. Experience working with domestic hot water mixing valves, recirculating loops, aqua stats, and instantaneous water heaters. Experience with the provisions of Life Safety Codes and Uniform Construction Code (UCC), as it relates to repairs of buildings. Experience in the maintenance or repair of buildings.
