Description:

Must Haves:

• Must have previous IV compounding or compounding pharmacy experience

• 1+ years of experience in long term care, hospital, or compounding specialty facility

• Must have experience in EMR for data entry

Certification is not required but is a huge plus!

Job responsibilities:

• Preform IV compounding within closed door pharmacy | Mixes/packages IV medications, sanitizes IV room, equipment and hood

• Experience within a USP 797 environment is preferred.

• Must be familiar with aseptic technique

• Inputs patient data and medication orders into a computer system to produce labels (data entry)

• May have to prepare medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding

• Working under the supervision of Sterile Compounding Lead Tech and Compounding Pharmacist
