Inspection of all types of materials using different inspection techniques. May report to Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBIITIES:

Inspect/audit materials at various stages of production process

Maintain associated documentation for records of inspections

Read and work with engineering drawings, specifications, diagrams, etc.

Document non-conformances on appropriate reports

Inspect materials at receiving

Perform FAIs

Internal auditor

Maintain calibration log and work with suppliers to perform calibration services

Any other quality duties that may be assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE:

Engineering drawing readings

Use of standard and sophisticated measuring instruments

Able to use and maintain documentation

Understanding of ISO 9000

Knowledge of company policies, shop and safety rules

Verbal and written communication skills in English

Basic math skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The position could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time

throughout the day. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly

required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear. The

possibility exists of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
