The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates to fill an anticipated Professional Development Specialist position for the 2025-26 school year with an effective start date of on or about September 2, 2025. Job Qualifications

A valid NYS teaching certificate is required. Preference given to SWD B-2, K-12, 1-6, 5-9, 7-12 or All Grades. Applicants should be familiar with effective strategies to support student learning and outcomes including but not limited to, scaffolding and differentiating instruction; behavior management and positive interventions, co-teaching models, and learning needs and modalities for students with diverse disabilities. A minimum of five years teaching experience.
