Equipment Mechanic, Homer NY Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm $20-30.00 per hour depending on experience

General Description: This position will be responsible for maintenance and general repairs on all types of; heavy, medium, light-duty vehicles, gas, & diesel equipment and trailers. Qualifications: Complete set of hand tools to effectively get the work accomplished. Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components. Ability to read and comprehend required paperwork such as work orders, repair manuals, wiring schematics, drawings. Ability to diagnose mechanical & electrical problems. Experience operating equipment preferred. CDL driver's license NOT required but preferred. Previous work experience in heavy-duty gas & diesel maintenance and repair. Compensation: Based on experience.
