JOB SUMMARY

As the Operations Manager at Papa John's at Tarbell Management Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and success of our store. You will lead by example, instilling a customer-centric mindset within the team while upholding Papa John's and TMG standards. From managing daily operations to driving sales and fostering team development, you will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure smooth operation during operating hours, meeting success metrics set by the organization.

  • Lead by example in prioritizing customer satisfaction and coaching associates to deliver positive customer experiences.

  • Ensure adherence to Papa John's and TMG standards through various assessment tools such as In-House Site Visits, Store Performance Reports, and corporate shopper reports.

  • Oversee the care, maintenance, and repair of all operational equipment.

  • Drive sales through both external sources and daily customer interactions.

  • Manage budgeted productivity standards for food costs, paper costs, and labor costs.

  • Coach and develop team members, holding them accountable to standards and goals.

  • Set daily goals to improve accuracy, speed of service, hospitality, upselling, and operational standards.

  • Maintain proper inventory levels based on sales and product yield.

  • Ensure team adherence to safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.

  • Proficiently navigate through POS, Back Office System, and Accounting System provided by Papa John's and TMG.

  • Achieve Serv-Safe Certification and ensure team members follow food safety guidelines.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of associates and customers professionally.

  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the food service industry is preferred.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and budgeting.

  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic accounting principles.

  • Serv-Safe Certification or willingness to obtain certification.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business management or related field preferred.

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance

  • Must have at LEAST 2 years of supervisor experience in a similar food & beverage/QSR operation that has no less than $500k in gross sales.
