What you'll do...

The Walmart Marketplace is a curated community of respected, professional sellers who offer only top-quality, authentic products and best-in-class customer services.

The Senior Manager, Marketplace Strategic Initiatives - ETS (Entertainment, Toys, and Seasonal) is responsible for defining strategy and leading implementation of category strategic initiatives, including Walmart Restored, which will drive growth for the Entertainment, Toys, and Seasonal marketplace categories. They will work in close collaboration with Product Management, Seller Performance, Site Merchandising, Strategic Account Management, and Business Development, among others, to define new frictionless seller and customer experiences that drive business growth. You'll make an impact by:

  • Leading long-term and annual strategy for key strategic initiatives : Develop strategic point of view, including data analysis, to identify pain points and opportunities to be translated into actionable game plans. Influence future capability roadmaps by building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Drive growth and adoption of new capabilities: Work closely with teams to refine roadmap, evaluate success, and define approaches to drive adoption, driving outsized growth. Manage in-year, monthly, and weekly KPIs and activate levers to achieve business results.

  • Operating with excellence and leading others : Lead a small team of project managers, and serve in a leadership role on program teams. Set an example in managing to goals, delivering excellence, presenting to all levels, and developing yourself and others. Champion change and evolution, persuade through use of data and facts, demonstrate sufficient gravitas, and inspire and motivate others. Champion Walmart's culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' experience in Business Management, Product, Marketing, Program Management, Merchandising, or a related area. E-Commerce and/or E-Commerce Marketplace experience preferred.

  • Experience leading complex technology initiatives from concept to implementation in a Business, Go-to-Market, Product Management, and/or Technology role.

  • Experience leading a small team of either direct reports or in a significant mentorship role.

  • Experience managing large cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder relationships.

  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to distill complex business issues and strategies to highlight insights and actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner.

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to drive business positive outcomes.

  • Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
