About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations team.

Our Wiley GTM Operations team designs, implements, and maintains end-to-end lead management frameworks, ensuring that no opportunity is left untouched or stuck in the funnel. We are dedicated to increasing product discoverability and maximizing the investment in merchandising, all while fostering a seamless progression for leads from discovery to conversion.

Your role will be pivotal in liaising across various global programs and with Sales, Operations, Technology and Data & Analytics teams to ensure alignment across the organization on a wide range of initiatives.

How you will make an impact:

  • Serve as the CRM Marketing Product Owner, managing all marketing aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other marketing technologies that interact/integrate with Salesforce.
  • Owner of the prioritized sprint backlog for the B2B Marketing team. Leads the gathering of business requirements and writes user stories that align to the features and ensure the sprint backlog stays full and is prioritized. Leads the development of user stories from prioritized features, identify acceptance criteria for user stories, approve each user story during the sprint, ensure that user stories meet the acceptance criteria and are updated in the system. Owns all escalated issues, risks, challenges and proactively works to resolve.
  • Act as the primary liaison between marketing, sales, and technology teams to ensure alignment on CRM strategies and initiatives.
  • Oversee end-to-end ownership, implementation, and management of cross-platform programs and frameworks to optimize and accelerate lead generation and conversion.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Technology and Data Analytics teams to develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies and solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of SFDC and Marketing Automation Platform capabilities and continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Provide training and support to marketing teams on SFDC and other related technologies to enhance their proficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in CRM marketing and marketing automation to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM (SFDC).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with a Marketing Automation Platform (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua, Adobe Campaign, SFMC).
  • 2-5 years of experience with other sales and marketing technologies that interact with Salesforce and/or a Marketing Automation Platform.
  • 2-5 years of experience working within Agile frameworks and JIRA.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive marketing decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing CRM marketing initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly skilled at identifying risks and issues and managing corrective actions.
  • Salesforce Certification(s).
  • Marketing Automation Certifications (Adobe Campaign or Marketo preferred).
