Walmart Manager, Program Management - Outbound Transportation in Hoboken, New Jersey

Do you want to build a new transportation business inside the Fortune #1 company? We're at the crossroads of Walmart's legendary supply chain and e-commerce innovation.

The Manager, Program Management of WFS Transportation Business Operations is a leadership role that is responsible for the growth and management of our Walmart Fulfillment Services Outbound Transportation business. As key interface between our Fulfillment Centers, Return Centers, Transportation Providers and the WFS business, this Manager will own the daily performance of our Outbound service providers as well as establishing process improvements to guide the future of Walmart Fulfillment Services. This role's primary location will be based in Hoboken, NJ with Bentonville, AR, Bellevue WA or San Bruno, CA being considered as secondary locations. This role will require at least 30% travel.

You'll make an impact by...

  • Leading Daily Operational performance - Utilize advanced data analytics to improve and standardize daily Outbound and Reverse Logistics operations by leading performance reviews with sites and carriers. Analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Partnering with internal and external teams to root cause gaps and determine path for resolution. Be the voice of Walmart Fulfillment Services Outbound Transportation by consolidating multiple streams of communication and providing meaningful updates on the status of the business with roadmap to continue driving success.

  • Building a Robust Carrier Compliance Program - Develop and enhance a data-driven program to ensure carrier compliance with WFS rules. Work with Transportation and Analytic teams to build new capabilities as needed, using data insights to drive decision-making.

  • Cross Functional Collaboration - Work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization, including Fulfillment Centers, Return Centers, Transportation Providers, and internal business units, to ensure alignment and drive operational excellence through data-driven insights. Possess the ability to lead by example and influence others to uphold the organization's value while communicating openly and truthfully, ensuring that information is accessible and understandable.

  • Data-Driven, Analytical Minded - Understands analytics, big data analytics, and methods; Business understanding; Precedence and use cases; Business requirements and insights. Promotes and educates others on data quality awareness; Profiles, analyzes, and assesses data quality; Tests and validates data quality requirements. Delivers against data quality service level agreements; Manages data quality issues and leads data cleansing activities to remove data quality defects, improve data quality, and eliminate unused data.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, Transportation Experience and 2 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management or related area OR Transportation Experience and 4 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Google Big Query, SQL, Excel, Tableau.

Process Improvement/Implementation.

Carrier Management background.

Experience with Reverse Logistics/Returns/Exits.

Ability to consolidate data/trends and clearly communicate wins/gaps to upper leadership.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649/Bellevue, Washington US-11075:The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
