Arc Herkimer Community and Family Support Coordinator in Herkimer, New York

Starting rate $17.25, full time, Monday- Friday 8am- 4pm with flexibility.

  • Computer processing and data entry. Ensuring the accuracy of file information by updating data bases as new information is received. 

  • Scheduling/fill work shifts for staff using computerized scheduling system.

  • Coordinate schedules and/or activities with supervisors and employees to make sure each shift properly staffed.

  • Schedule shifts, activities, and services according to care plan and staff availability.

  • Coordinate and ensure necessary vehicles are made available for scheduled services.

  • Coordinate and ensure proper financial resources are available for scheduled services.

  • Provide oversight and monitoring of PEX process.

  • Resolve scheduling conflicts.

  • Communicate with team members on a regular basis.

  • Ensure efficient telephone communication with staff and families.

  • Demonstrate helpfulness and courtesy.

  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with employees and families supported.

  • Understand and adhere to established Arc Herkimer policies and procedures.

  • Undertake other duties, responsibilities, and projects as may be required by supervisor.

  • Provide direct care and coverage for all support and services as needed.

  • Training direct support professionals/staff.

    Position requirements: 

  • Associates degree preferred. 

  • Prior scheduling experience preferred. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
