Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our outpatient office. You'll monitor patient arrivals, assist with patient flow, and ensure a prompt, courteous welcome for patients and visitors. Your duties include escorting patients to exam rooms, monitoring wait times, and assisting in patient preparation for exams. You will be tasked with obtaining and recording patient's chief complaints, vital signs, and allergy information, as well as performing clinical and technical services such as EKG and phlebotomy. Other responsibilities include maintaining clean examination rooms, stocking supplies, updating patient information in the EMR system, and handling medical reports/lab results while strictly adhering to HIPPA rules.
Hard Skills
CMA or RMA certification
Proficiency in EMR systems
Vitals monitoring
Clinical and technical services such as EKG and phlebotomy

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Hawthorne, New York.
Work Environment
This full-time position requires your presence from Monday to Friday, 08:30 am – 05:00 pm. We have openings in three different offices in the area. Note that our office in White Plains is most urgently seeking a Medical Assistant. Our busy outpatient offices see 50-100 patients a day.
