As a Support Partner you will be providing direct support in partnership with people with disabilities, on a one-to-one basis, in their own homes and communities. Services include direct support in the form of community involvement and/or accommodation with all activities of daily living including personal care, communication, transportation and inclusive social and recreational activities.
We are looking to partner with people who are creative, energetic and like to have fun. We are looking for people who want to ensure that ALL people's rights are secured, that people can live a self-determined life and who believe in equity!
We are hiring both part-time and full-time positions in Havertown, PA!
SHIFTS NEEDED
Saturday and Sunday: 3PM - 11PM
Monday through Friday: 7PM -11PM
Friday and Saturday: 11PM - 7A (overnight)
The person requires total support with personal care (bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and transferring using a Hoyer lift) Staff need to be comfortable supporting an individual in a motorized wheelchair. Experience with technology skills with devices such as iPads, laptops, and Amazon Alexa is preferred. Staff will transport the individual using his wheelchair-accessible van to her appointments and community outings.
This person loves sports (including live sporting events!), technology, funny music, hanging out in the community. He currently works at a school as well - those who join his team will be an important part of supporting him live an independent and meaningful life.

Qualifications
-current CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred
-must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
-must be creative in the community
Candidates must be patient, creative, have effective communication skills, and demonstrate professionalism.
Qualifications:
? A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience supporting people to live in the community.
? Possession of a valid driver's license
? 18 years of age or older
? Be or willing to be Covid-19 Vaccinated prior to employment
