Responsibilities The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for managing various warehouse operations, including storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and operating machinery like forklifts. The goal is to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Heavy Lifting Required: Load and unload trucks safely, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Physically Active Role: Picking and packing orders for shipment, including physically moving and organizing products.

  • Move products to and from designated stocking locations, including configuration areas.

  • Package items securely and label them correctly for shipping.

  • Inspect incoming shipments for quality and damages, and document issues when necessary.

  • Prepare and print packing slips for orders.

  • Remove inventory from trucks and oversee receiving operations.

  • Scan and count incoming orders to ensure accuracy for receiving.

  • Conduct periodic inventory counts and assist in inventory management.

  • Stack, organize, and store bulk items in a safe and accessible manner.

  • Forklift Operation: Use forklifts to safely move inventory and perform tasks in the warehouse.

  • Prepare shipping labels and packages for FedEx and other carriers.

  • Process receipts and shipments in NetSuite.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers to achieve operational goals.

  • Adhere to safety and quality standards, and follow warehouse procedures, rules, and regulations.

    Required Skills/Experience:

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting and physcially demanding tasks for extended periods.

  • Forklift Experience: Must have experience operating a forklift (certification preferred).

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately handle products, labels, and shipments with minimal errors.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with NetSuite preferred, but not required. Computer literacy is essential.

  • Safety Conscious: Strong knowledge of safety practices when handling products, equipment, and machinery.

  • Team Player: Excellent communication and cooperation skills to work effectively within a team.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an organized workspace.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience or working knowledge of warehouse operations.

  • Forklift certification (can be provided if needed).

  • Experience with inventory management systems.
