Ryder System Senior Financial Analyst - REMOTE in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst leads processes to include the development of planning, evaluation and assessment of corporate initiatives, analysis and proposal of strategic alternatives to enhance Ryder's market position.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for supporting the management in a department lead processes to include the development of planning, evaluation and assessment of corporate initiatives and analysis

  • Responsible for proposal of strategic alternatives to enhance Ryder’s market position

  • Provide actionable competitive analysis and insights to feed strategy development and facilitate tactical decision-making, periodic and ad-hoc analysis and reporting

  • Provide on-going business analysis to develop recommendations for alternative scenarios surrounding profit improvement and shareholder value creation

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in related field

  • MBA preferred

  • Five (5) years or more post MBA preferred

  • Five (5) years or more experience in a corporate Finance Department within a Fortune 500 Company or consulting firm preferred

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market

data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or

certifications, etc.

The salary for this position ranges from $75K-79K
